Shakespeare returns to the Humber River regional heritage.

Much Ado about Nothing

After a very successful first season Humber River Shakespeare expands it’s tour this summer by visiting four new communities.

“We are thrilled to be developing a new tradition in the wonderful communities of Schomberg, Etobicoke, Kettleby,
King, Kleinburg, Caledon and Woodbridge - this is Shakespeare in your Parks,” said Artistic Producer Sara
Moyle.

With the natural beauty of the park venues as their set, and inspired by the history of the Humber River, watch and
listen as actors and musicians tell a captivating story for the whole family.

“You will feel echoes of the heady and delirious 1920s in Much Ado About Nothing,” hinted Artistic Director Kevin
Hammond, an accomplished producer and former Artistic Director of the award winning Shakespeare in the Rough.

The play is a tale of two loving relationships - one youthful and impetuous, the other mature, cynical, and guarded -
the courses of which are brought to the brink of disaster by machinations both innocent and wicked. Expect an evening of unexpected shocks, laughter, and outrageous
liberties in equal measure. So that no eyes or ears miss out on the joy of live theatre, the cost of all performances is by donation, on site. Bring a chair or blanket, and we will see you in the park!
