Title: The Various Jungles
by Quinsy Morrison StKitts
The splash of colours in this painting enliven the lush jungle scene below. The two jungles - urban and natural are both portrayed here. Two ladies dominate the image, giving you somewhere to place your attention. It includes both cold and warm colours, and a touch of graffiti on the city walls.

RIGHT Title: Garden Emotions
Media: print-outs, acrylic, on illustration board by Andrea Chavez. This piece is based purely on
design, for which I experimented with bright colors and
created many different textures on tiles. Then I added the print-outs to add a sense of natural beauty. I tried to present a feeling of tranquility as one would feel in a garden
setting. To show emotions felt; curiousity, peace and
interest, also to make people appreciate beauty and wonder
about nature.

The theme for my pieces
is the human form. I
used these pieces to
explore different ways to
express the human form
such as with different
types of media, different
meanings, and different
perspectives. I used this
as my theme in order to
expand my knowledge
of the human form (to
explore it in 3-D, 2-D
and understand the
annatomy of it) as well
as to help push myself
on creating new, unique
and interesting ideas
each time I created a
piece within this theme.
