Our Spring edition marks 10 years of Tapestry. In the first edition, editor Paul Russell envisioned Tapestry would be “focusing on leisure and lifestyle opportunities and residents who achieved acclaim in their field.” This edition continues along that theme with a look at local singers, songwriters and musicians of Prairie Oyster, written by Sue Rhodemyre. They will be performing this summer at KingFest - get your tickets early and also enter our contest. A unique lifestyle opportunity exists at Fairfield Estates; read Michele Minnoch’s story to find out more. Tapestry is always proud to feature our local artists and we hope our story on page 12 is a preview of many, many more successful artists of tomorrow. Remember their names and faces or better yet take in the art show at King City Secondary School April 4. Thank you to all our contributors and until next time, enjoy Spring. Nancy
