Spring into the Library!

The arrival of warmer temperatures
and the melting of the snow signals a time to get over those winter blahs and experience your community. The spring season in the library will be a busy one! Come in and check us out! Here are just a few reasons why; there
are new book titles on the shelves and page turners waiting to be discovered, drop in computer lessons, new DVD releases, books on CD for children and adults great for those
long commutes or weekend trips
and of course our very popular
library programmes. All library
programmes are literacy based
with a wide assortment of materials
in our collection to support our various events.

The library is now offering several FREE new children’s and teen programmes. The Schomberg, Nobleton and King
City branches are all offering the
After School Adventurer programme.
This after school event is offered once a week for children ages 6 and up. The kids experience a new theme each
week through the use of books in our collection, games, crafts and other activities. The King City library is now hosting a weekly Junior Chess Club every Saturday! Participants who play
or want to learn chess are all welcome! Boards will be provided,
however you may bring your own. The library also offers a variety of instructional books on how to play! If you love to read and are between the ages of 13- 18, our new Teen Book Club is for you! The King City library’s
Teen Book club meets once a month.

If you have not already, do not forget to sign up for your library card! Children can have their own card designed just for them! See you at the library!
