I just love summer. For me it is casual, simple,
fun and easy. This edition of Tapestry is
just that!
Whimsical art pieces featured on our
cover are created by Laskay artist Christine
Paige. Penelope Gilbertson provides insight
of this local artist also discovering Christine Paige's
written humour which you will find in Rural Route
Yarns. LOL (laugh out loud)
Love of ceramics, things made by hand and from the
heart are worldwide. Madeleine Adams presents folkloric
"Pupa" individual items that come from one of 28
recognized ceramic cities within Italy "In Search of
Ceramics the Traveller's Way".
The King Township Museum explores the edible
backyard, one of their newest initiatives on page 6. The
museum grounds will showcase this year's ASK Soiree.
It is a perfect setting for a wonderful event featuring
