| A new season begins shortly, there will be winter activities,
traditional festivities some of which are in this edition of Tapestry. Most events and societies are successful as a result of the efforts of volunteers. A Main Street Christmas Schomberg has numerous dedicated helpers, too many to list. Sylvia Phillips shares with us a brief insight to what goes on and invites everyone to enjoy the magic December 5th on Main Street. Having helped many times myself with this event, one thing that people do not realize is the cost to put the event on is huge, and that the nominal gate fee helps pay for insurance, costs for some of the entertainment etc. Volunteers bring the music to McMichael Gallery, see the concert listing. Blackhorse Theatre has great performances, again volunteers. We have noted other events and generosities of volunteers in the pages to follow.
