Good things are happening this fall
starting Saturday September 8th
with the 30th annual
Kettleby Fair,
good old fashioned fun! When I found the
cover picture for Tapestry the Jack-in-the-pulpit brought
back childhood memories. It was rare to see one, the
name so interesting and it always felt like we found a
treasure. Our feature artist this edition turned out to be a "treasure".
Ann Love co-authors children's books and I
love the cottage books, again reminding me of the plain
old fun things our parents did with us as kids.
Rural
Route Yarns is new this fall; Phil Chadwick shares a
story that includes his father, and Sue Eaman wrties
about her backyard guest.
The Crooked Thumb has been
a story we have been meaning to get to for years and
finally, thanks to Pieter Thoenes and Michelle Minnoch,
it's done. Enjoy the many other articles and fall events in
King. This edition seems to be about memories and I'd
like to say thanks to my folks for the fun, the great
memories. Happy 60th Anniversary September 12th,
2007 to Dorothy and Jack Stenhouse. With love Nancy.
